Yes, he brought it home, if you can call that rescuing it:-) My kids are in heaven. It's probably about 1 week old. It's the most adorable thing we've ever seen. It hates being alone, loves to be held and snuggled, follows the kids around, makes the cutest sounds you've ever heard and is just so sweet! We named it Goosey. We plan to take it over to the Greenbelt where there are tons of goslings and see if a family might adopt it. Anybody have any other ideas? Because I'm open to hearing them. We're feeding it chick feed and letting it swim in the tub/sink, but I'm afraid it's imprinting on our family.

See Melanie, you would get "mother of the year" for letting a gosling into your home. I get it for not putting sunscreen on my 11 month old child. :) It isn't a super real award, and any mother can get it, at any time of the year. Just don't expect a trophy. Come to think of it, I let Kaysha keep a lady bug in a jar and name it, so again, another example of a "Mother of the Year" moment.
I've heard geese make great guard dogs!
That is so adorable! We loved watching it run - did you already drop him off or are you keeping him? We had domestic geese growing up - they can grow up to be a real pain when they attack legs!
