The kids did very well in the 4 day car ride. And they loved the hotels. We made sure each one had a pool.

The first day in TN we spent playing in my parent's backyard. We were waiting for Mike and his family to come in(they were the last to arrive). When they did fly in, Mike was rushed to the hospital with food poisoning. A fun way to start a family reunion! He was eventually released and recovered quickly. On Thurs July 3rd I took Caleb in to the doctor. He'd been coughing the whole trip and I was getting so tired of it! It turns out he had walking pneumonia!! Poor kid.
We also went to Bays Mountain, a local park where we went for all
my field trips in elementary school.
There was a zoo and a lake, and an indoor, man-made, cave the kids played in.

In the evening we went to the church and had a family olympics.
The little girls were cheerleaders, and the older kids competed in contests like jump rope, kick ball, basketball throw, etc.
