football addendum

Michael had a much better second practice, the dads didn't play this time, and the coach picked Michael to be one of the running backs/wide receivers which is the position he wanted. His coach also told him he had "good hands". Aren't you grateful for good coaches who inspire(teachers and leaders too). Their 1st games were today. Unfortunately, Caleb's coach did not have him on the roster, so Caleb did not have a team T-shirt. That was alright though, because the coach played Caleb as a running back in a few plays and he scored a touchdown for his team!! Isn't that something?! We were pretty excited. His final score was 21-6. Michael's game wasn't as great. They played a team who'd been together already for a few years. This team was big and good. Michael had a few running plays but didn't get very far. The final score was 6-28. Michael was bummed.
